We’re small, but our ideas aren’t.

We have a small staff of faculty, students and volunteers who help us to write, report and edit stories each month.  We have their permission to dream.  Our operating budget is modest — but our ideas are big.   We want to acquire a J3 Cub and dedicate it to increasing our coverage and expanding our reach into the smaller fields and communities.

We want to introduce a new generation of students and journalists to flying.  They in turn, will report on general aviation with more accurate and compelling stories backed up with current first-hand knowledge and experiences.

We want to establish an Aviation Journalism Institute at Kent State University to improve the public understanding of general aviation and help educate not only our students, but also professional and citizen journalists.  We have a strong tradition of writing, reporting and teaching people to fly. This magazine provides an opportunity for all to begin to understand that general aviation is about much more than just airplanes.

Give us your two-cents.
